Thank you for visiting Ms. Howard’s 7th Grade Reading classroom web page! Ms. Howard is happy to start her fourth year at Coolidge Jr. High School. She has been in the education field for over twenty years. She has worked in higher education as well. She did step out of education for a few years and became a corporate trainer for a financial firm in Dallas. She held the position of Director of Student Development at the university level.

 

Ms. Howard began her Arizona teaching career as the 8th grade Language Arts and Advanced Language Arts teacher in Apache Junction for three years. She taught Business Education/Computer Applications and Keyboarding at Warrensburg Middle School in Missouri for eleven years. She also was a substitute teacher for three school districts in the mid1990s.

 

Ms. Howard possesses a Bachelor’s Degree from Central Missouri State University (CMSU/UCM). She has a Masters in Adult Education and Distance Learning from The University of Phoenix (UOP), a Masters in Secondary Education from (CMSU) and has completed all of her doctoral coursework and three years of dissertation writing and research in Education Administration and Teacher Leadership from Walden University.

Ms. Howard is the mother of four grown children and three amazing grandsons Ethan age 13, Evan 3, and Egan 1. She also has a granddaughter Ever who is 1 year old.
